Exim Code Renewals

Now it is simple to process. The Department of Customs issues the export-import code, or ExIm code, as a means of identifying exporters and importers for the purposes of importing and exporting products and services internationally. Businesses and institutions that have obtained an ExIm code must renew it at the start of each fiscal year.

Description

STEPS FOR RENEWAL:

Step 1: Go to the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance, Department of Customs Website www.custom.gov.np

Step 2: Click on EXIM code icon and Proceed: You will be directed to EXIM code portal.

Step 3: Click and proceed to EXIM Portal (2): To renew EXIM Code.

Step 4: Login To Access EXIM Portal.

Step 5: From EXIM User home, Go to Renew Exim Code (3)

Step 6: Fill your details on empty boxes, Some of the details and Tax clearance (if updated on IRD system) will be filled automatically. Choose an appropriate type (export, Import or both) and Fiscal Year. Click on save and next for proceed.

Step 7: Fill up Bank Guarantee details and upload Bank Guarantee letter.

Step 8: Online Payment for EXIM Code Renewal.

01.When the EXIM policy is renewed every?

The Export Import Policy (EXIM Policy) or Foreign Trade Policy is updated every year on the 31st of March and the modifications, improvements and new schemes becomes effective from April month of each year.

02.What are the documents required for Exim code renewal in Nepal?

Documents Required for the Application: Citizenship copy of an individual or of all shareholders in a partnership firm. PAN/VAT Certificate. Registration Certificate of the company. Passport size photo of the proprietor.
